1.What documents are required to apply for the Teacher Growth Community? Are there any eligibility restrictions for the application?

Ans:During the announcement period, the convener should collect project application forms. The members are primarily teachers from our school, and the ideal group size is between 3 to 8 people.

2.The definition of practical teaching materials? What documents are required to apply for compiling practical teaching materials?

Ans:Mainly self-prepared lecture notes, books, or self-made teaching aids and models. Each academic year, teachers fill out Form No. A0G1080113 during the acceptance period announced by the Teaching Resources Center, and it is reviewed and approved by the Departmental Affairs Meeting and the College-level Meeting.

3.What types of innovative teaching projects can teachers apply for? What documents are required?

Ans:The innovative teaching projects are divided into two types: basic or pilot for teaching practices and research. The basic project includes problem-based learning, software application or programming integration into STEM courses, cooperative learning, flipped classroom, and digital technology integration in teaching. During the announcement period, teachers are required to submit project proposals.

4.What are the qualifications for selecting excellent teachers? What documents are required to participate in the selection process?

Ans:Excellent full-time teachers recommended by the teaching units are eligible to participate in the selection or be recommended by the Teaching Excellence Center as one of the top 5 teachers in terms of teaching performance. Candidates are required to complete a recommendation form (including course subjects and a description of teaching accomplishments) and submit supporting documents, such as recommendation form, transcripts, assignments, exams, or reference materials.

5.What is the procedure for applying for awards and rewards for students participating in off-campus competitions? What documents are required?

Ans:The supervisor should fill out the award registration form and it should be approved by the departmental and college meetings. The 'irregular competition' is reviewed by the Teaching Resources Center and then awarded through administrative meetings' approval. The 'regular competition' is handled by the Teaching Resources Center and awarded through a signature process.

6.Does the off-campus competition have different levels? What are the different levels and how much prize money can be obtained for each level?

Ans:Off-campus competitions are divided into 'Special Class, Excellent Class, Good Class, Class A, Class B' competitions. Our school grants awards according to the amount of prize money obtained in the original award. However, awards for competitions below the Excellent Class must not exceed the scholarship limit set by the regulations. For team competitions (2 or more people), the scholarship amount is divided equally by 1.5 times the original amount, while cross-department teams are divided equally by 2 times the amount.
